This Neglected Quince Tree Still Produces Fruit
It always amazes me that this tree can still produce any fruit at all. It gets almost no care, and I don't water it. Yet every year it faithfully sets fruit that matures and ripens.
This photo focuses on the fruit growing on the tree. The green quince fruits start turning yellow as they ripen. They usually ripen in fall.
The photo below shows how deformed the trunk is. It has been almost on the ground for most of the twenty-two years we've lived here, yet it keeps producing. It has a very strong desire to bear fruit. With the help of God, we, too, can bear fruit under less than ideal conditions.
